The Country Inn Of Lancaster

We looked at our 40 hotels on line. We especially looked at the customer reviews. We were impressed with what people said about the cleanliness and hotel staff. It was the picture on their website that initially got our attention, :"Voted Cleanest Hotel". I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a reasonably priced hotel, with great accomodations, nice staff, and easy access to restaurants and shopping.outlets. The hot cider and popcorn were great at night!

It was very clean and the staff was extremely kind. The decor was very nice, made us feel like we were in the country.

Everyone was so helpful and friendly- enjoyed all the amenities in the lobby- very homey

The Country Inn of Lancaster is an awesome place to stay. The minute you walk into the front door, you felt like you were set back into the country. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. It was not a luxury place, but it was comfortable and very nice. You could get juice, coffee or water at anytime in the fromt living room-type place with popcorn popping that was available to you at no charge. The breakfast the next day was great..nothing fancy, but certainly enough for you not to leave hungry. The beds were comfortable, free immediate wi-fi, tv was really good and it is close to everything we wanted to do. I would stay there again!!!

Only thing was the shower.....it was very weak and the temperature was hard to keep warm (it was either hot or cold). Other than that, it was great!!

The gentlemen at the front desk was very friendly & helpful. The room was clean & the bed was comfortable. I have never stayed at a The Country Inn chain hotel before but would not hesitate to do so again. The muffin/pastry-type foods offered with the continental breakfast were tasty.

The hot oat meal offered with the continental breakfast looked old & pasty.

I appreciated the decor of the room.I was very impressed with the security system at the front doors after dark. You could not get into the hotel without swiping your room key in the panel. I lost my reading glass they found them and made arrangements to mail them to me. We will be back.

Warm, comfortable beds and good continental breakfast. Close to shopping and restaurants. Close to Amish farms and other attractions.

Shower head in bathroom was small, with very poor water pressure and it was not adjustable.

The charm and country setting really was what really sold us on the Inn and we definitely will be back again next year. My friend and I come down every year as I have business in Lancaster/ This was our first time at your Inn though. Happily, we found a new motel to stay in when we come down to Lancaster from now on.

I very much enjoyed the beverages and popcorn available in lobby. I appreciated the decor of the room. The indoor/outdoor pool was nice. Having a restaurant on site was a big plus. Friendly, courteous staff.

Being so situated on a very busy highway.

The bathroonm was clean however the water in the shower kept getting hotter and hotter every time we would shower. Also, the towels had makeup on one of them from either someone else or it was permanently stained.

My female relatives and I were looking for a relaxing, comfortable, homey, atmosphere, and we found it at The Country Inn. We felt the Rocking chairs enhanced our visit. The entire country setting made our get away most satisfying and pleasurable. I will recommend your hotel to other relatives and friends.

The room was big and we had a deck that looked out over a quiet tree lined backside of the building. We enjoyed relaxing out there in the morning and evenings. We liked the country feel of this hotel, even though it was situated on a busy road. Everything was quiet and relaxed. Before we checked in we had requested a room with a balcony but did not get it. However, one call to the front desk and the problem was solved! The lady that helped us to unload our car and get all of our belongings to our room was wonderful! So sweet and helpful. She did things we didn't even ask of her. We will definitely stay there again, and bring the family!

This is sooo petty but when we were placed in the first room they had just installed new carpet. It was the ugliest carpet I had ever seen and it did not match the rest of the decor at all. I hope to never get that room again! (See I told you it was petty!)

Room was under renovation. We paid many for their base board. We were never told about that room is under construction and bare concrete with holes are visible.

The country inn was very comfortable looking. Staff was very polite and helpful.enjoy my stay ,would like to go there again.

Exceptionally clean. More pillows than even I could use. Nice pool and hot tub. Bottom line: Would have stayed an additional night if there had been a room available.

Only uncomfortable aspect was that there was no sheer on the balcony door, just a single curtain, and we were on the first floor. While we would have loved to have let the sun pour into the room, we would have been too exposed. (On the plus side, they told me they are preparing to renovate the rooms, including adding shears.) The included breakfast was a bit disappointing, but certainly adequate. It still seemed like a good value, overall.
